I hope this email finds you well and that your family has had a great fall and winter. Happy Spring! This is a reminder email to sign up your returning swimmers to guarantee their spot as we will be opening up registration to new swimmers May 1st! Also we have our official meet schedule for the upcoming season. This year marks the 50th ANNIVERSARY of the Porpoises and planning for the summer 2024 season is well underway. The board has met a couple of times and the Tri-County Aquatic League (TCAL) is finalizing our meet schedule. Our website (http://pataskalaporpoises.org/) is being updated regularly. Please use that source for information.

• The 2023 roster will be used for email communication until May 1.
• This year, we are thrilled to welcome Coach Josh Dorsett back to our team as our new head coach! Coach Dorsett was an assistant last season and we are currently finalizing our assistant coaching staff.
• Practice groups/times are the same as last year and will start on June 3rd. Stay tuned for an evaluation date for(new this season)
• Suits are the same as last year and are ordered directly through Swimville.

• Caps are required and are the same as last year. If you need one, please order it during the registration process ($15).
• You will get a team t-shirt with registration. Make sure to choose a size.

  • Champs will be on Wednesday, July 17th @ Dresden again this year. The 18th is the rain date.
• Fees: $145 for the 1st swimmer in the household, $145 for the 2nd swimmer in the household, $95 for each remaining swimmer in the same household. Swimmers must be registered and paid at the same time to get the discounted price for the 2nd/3rd+ swimmers.

  • New this season if you are a business owner and would like to sponsor the swim team at the Silver or Gold level you will get a $50 discount per swimmer.
  • This cost includes a $40 per swimmer fee to the City of Pataskala. This year the city will credit $15 per Porpoise swimmer towards any aquatic service including membership. They will receive our roster on May 1 and will get updated rosters every couple of weeks until our registration is closed.
  • This cost also includes the $13 per swimmer TCAL league fee.
