June 4 Meet Information
Good Morning!
Attached are two documents. These documents are a psych sheet and a heat sheet.
A Psych Sheet is a list of swimmers competing in a meet with their assigned events. They do not show heat and lane assignments. These are used in most meets, and are typically sent out prior to the meet. They are also a good way to check and make sure your swimmer knows what events they are swimming prior to race day.
A heat sheet is the printed listing displayed before and during a meet that tells swimmers what events they will compete in. It also defines the swimmer's lane assignment per event.
Sample relay event from a heat sheet:
Arm Grid/Name
When your swimmer is dry, use a Sharpie to mark their Event, Heat, and Lane numbers on their arm. You may also want to add the name of the event or the stroke. On the swimmers back shoulder, you will want to add their last name (as this helps the bull pen get them ready to swim).
The bull pen will either be calling events to them or they will have it posted. Pay attention to which events they are calling and have your swimmer there ahead of their event.
If you signed up to volunteer, please make sure you find us to sign in.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the coach, another swimming parent, or a board member.
Thanks!
Cassie Lauvray and Valerie Kellett
