Good morning Porpoise Family! As we head into Week 5 of the summer swim season we have some important updates for all. 

Week 5

All Swim-a-thon money is due by Tuesday, June 30. Families can make donations via cash, check, or Zeffy. Collectively our swimmers (and coaches) swam 2,797 laps! Way to go! Thank you to everyone that participated. This was such a fun event and we can't wait to make it even better next year.

Our meet is at Baltimore this week. There is no morning practice on Wednesday, due to the meet. The pool address and warm-up times are listed in Swimtopia. It will be a HOT one, so be sure to bring lots of water! You will complete your volunteer check in with Valerie. Freeze pops will be available for swimmers during the meet to keep them hydrated. 

Be on the lookout for an email from Coach Josh this weekend in regards to events for Baltimore and events for our Meet #6. He will also be sending out an email about focus groups for practices in Week 5. Go ahead and declare your child for the Baltimore meet by Monday at noon (you will not be able to choose events, Josh's email will explain).

July 3 we have morning practices! We would love to see all of our swimmers at this practice. We will have some fun games to celebrate the holiday. Be sure to dress in your best red, white, and blue!

Champs Practice

All swimmers and families are encouraged to attend our Champs Practice July 13 from 7-8:30pm. There is NO morning practice on this day. The team will provide the main dish for this practice and we ask that all families bring a side dish or dessert to share. Please RVP for this event so that we know how much food to order.

We will have regularly schedule practices July 14 to prepare for Champs. All swimmers that complete 3 regular season meets can attend Champs. 

Board Member Nominations for 2027 season

It's that time in the season, where we will be taking nominations for board members. While the current board members all plan to stay on for the 2027 season, any position can be contested. Save the Date

Our end of the season banquet will be on Monday, July 20 from 7-8:30pm. We hope that all swimmers can attend this super fun night of recognition and swimming!
